  • Define job routing: sequence of operations, machines used.

  • Assign materials, tools, and operators to each work order.

  • Print job travelers, labels, and inspection sheets.

Outputs:

  • Work order packet (routing sheet, traveler, BOM).

  • Schedule for execution.

Best Practice:

  • Release only those WOs for which materials and manpower are 100% available.
